Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising the job functions and assigned employees in the Industrial Services Division.
They work with the Site Manager to implement initiatives that drive operational excellence, customer service, & budget achievement.
The Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to the company's core values.
They lead operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, DOT regulations, regulatory authorities, accounting, ethics, & other company standards.
Responsibilities include the execution & delivery of safety, customer satisfaction, & efficiency while supporting a culture of employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Oversees their assigned employees.
Ensures safety & accident prevention programs to ensure reasonable actions are taken to prevent accidents / injuries; ensure a safe & productive work environment for all employees; implement & maintain and effective loss control and safety program Engages assigned employees to participate & carry out a safe culture Identifies & removes unsafe conditions or situations Partners with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment is complying & remains in proper working order Provides service to customers that meets or exceeds their expectations regarding the entire customer experience Understands customer service goals & meet or exceed expectations related to those goals Resolves unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns, & schedule changes with timely communications to all stakeholders Effectively communicates with customers to resolve issues & continuously improve our customer's overall experience Serves as a positive representative of the company to drive customer satisfaction & loyalty Establishes productivity goals where needed, ensures adherence to operating standards, & manage labor hours , disposal expenses per established & agreed upon plans Leads staff to exceed productivity goals & expectations Creates, modifies, & improves processes to maximize efficiency Executes operational plans to achieve or exceed the division's budgeted goals Creates a collaborative environment ensuring ongoing improvements & employee engagement Develops employees by identifying their career goals & offering resources / opportunities to grow in their roles & possibly advance Performs other job-related duties as needed or assigned PM22POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
5+years of experience working in industrial services with knowledge and awareness of health & safety requirements 5
years of experience that include Lead or Supervisory functions in the Industrial field Proficiency working with MS Windows, Outlook, Word, & Excel Strong written & oral communication skills Effective communication across various levels of the organization and with external customers / vendors Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, & other related regulatory requirements Must pass pre-employment criteria Valid driver's license The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by person/people assigned to this work.
